The Vietnam fight was on everyones mind in 1960s and seventies in our country. It was the center of much of Americas troubles during this time, unless only the soldiers who fought in that contend knew the true madness that was Vietnam. Platoon is an Orion Pictures production, bucked in 1986. create verbally and directed by Oliver Stone it tells the gruesome story of a Vietnam War not known by the American public. tomcat Beringer, who plays the invited Sergeant Barnes, was nominated in the crush Supporting worker category along with Willem Defoe who plays Sergeant Elias. Charlie illumination plays Chris Taylor, an idealistic scholar who had dropped tabu of college, critical pointed the army, and volunteered for Vietnam.
